hanya tak pernah saya tanggapi. Ada semacam rasa takut bahwa orang ini ada maksud tersembunyi, misalnya penipuan atau sejenisnya. Lagipula darimana dia melihat profile saya? (sesuatu yang dia sendiri tidak menjelaskan).
Ketika saya saya mendapat pesan yang sama (yaitu pesan di atas) saya agak tergoda atau memang tergoda. Penyebabnya adalah (mengherangkan), ia mengirim pesan melalui suport layanan email sebuah website dimana saya jadi anggota (member). Saya mengira orang ini anggota dari website tersebut juga dan melihat profile atau foto saya dan benar-benar tertarik pada saya (wow...!). Saya pun merespon pesannya, menanyakan dimana dia tinggal, kebangsaannya dan apa alasan dia tertarik pada saya.
Sehari kemudian dia kembali merespon balasan saya seperti ini:

My name is Miss Jane Kumah Mbaye, from Ivory Coast.i am residing in the refugee camp here in Dakar Senegal as a result of the Political war going on in my country.I am 24 years old girl 5' 7" tall fair in complexion,I am single never married and active and I like everything he does, for example, easy and comfortable life, go to the beach, cooking, watching TV, like sports football, etc, shopping, reading newspapers and novels, walk.pls after long time I would have liked to chat with u but in this area are not allowed out often.
My father is Dr Patrice Kumah Mbaye, who was the Personal Adviser to the former head of state(Late Dr Robert Guei) before the Rebels attacked our House one early Morning and killed him alongside with my sweet mother during the Political War in my Country that lead to my being here as a Refugee. It is only me that is alive now and I managed to make my way to a near by country Senegal with the help of one old woman who was one of our neigbours at that time to escape to Senegal where I am living now as a refugee,
Please I will like to know more about you? Your likes and dislikes and what you are doing presently. I have no relative who can now go to all my relatives ran away in the midst of war, the only person I have now is Reverend Father John Semon, who is the pastor of Christ (for all Churches) here in the camp has been good to me since I got here, but I'm not living with him rather i am leaving in the women's hostel because the camp have two hostels one for men and another for women. And I use to communicate with you through the computer Reverend John Semon here in the camp i sent and received, here is the pastor Rev. John Semon telephone number (00221-777818810) for more audible His voice, when you call to tell the pastor Rev. John Semon you want to talk with Miss Jane Kumah Mbaye He sent for me. As a refugee here I have no right or privilege to any thing be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country. I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year before the incident that traggic lead to my being in this situation now took place. Please hear this, I have my late father of personal Will with his death certificate here with me i will send you the letter because when he was alive he deposited some amount of money in a leading financial company in which he used my name as Jane Kumah Mbaye's family, the amount involved is (8.6 million U.S. dollars) Eight million Six hundred thousand U.S. dollars deposited by my late father to the bank that I'm next relatives. So I'd like you to help me transfer this money to their care and from it you can send some money for me to get my traveling documents and air ticket to come and join you. I kept this secret to people in the camp here the only person who knows about it is the Reverend Father John Semon because he is like a father to me. So in the light of above i will like to keep it to yourself and not tell anyone for fear I have lost my life and the money if people gets to know. Remember i am giving all this information due to trust and love i deposited on you.I like honest and understanding people, truthful and a man of vision, truth and hard work.

Setelah membaca pesannya yang kedua, mulailah timbul rasa curiga karena ujungnya mengarah ke soal uang! Saya mencium bau tak sedap. Ada yang tidak beres. Ini pasti scam, kata saya. Maka dilakukanlah pencarian di Google dengan cara copy paste pesan dia yang pertama. Weleh, ternyata bukan saya saja yang pernah mendapat pesan serupa itu. Berarti benar ini pesan romantis scam! Ujung-ujungnya bukan kisah romantis, tapi penipuan terselubung!
Pesan saya, jika anda mendapat pesan yang serupa ini, jangan ditanggapi, jangan direspon; abaikan saja. Bila perlu delete saja pesan seperti itu!

BalasHapusSaya hampir setiap hari mendapatkan email scammer yang masuk dalam mail box sejak tahun 2012 sampai sekarang dan saya mencoba membalas semua email mereka tapi dengan hati-hati dan teliti agar tidak terbawa dalam rayuan-rayuan cinta yang membuat hati kita terbuai dalam kata-katanya. semua surat-surat yang mereka kirimkan selalu berakhir dengan permintaan uang untuk keperluan berbagai macam alasan. Beberapa waktu yang lalu surat email scammer tersebut saya publikasikan di sebuah blog: Romance Scammers Dating - http://romancescammer.blogspot.com/ dengan tujuan agar masyarakat tahu bahwa jika mendapatkan surat seperti ini adalah scammer, silahkan lihat contoh-contoh email tersebut berikut foto-foto yang mereka gunakan (mereka mencuri foto-foto orang lain seperti model, artis film, artis TV dan juga menggunakan model porno) dan ini adalah satu contoh surat email scammer.
